  This quiet town is a fantastic place to stop in between Asuncion and Encarnacion. Grab a beer from the bodega and sip it in the park while watching the monkeys. Santa Maria Hotel is right at the park and also has its own quaint backyard with fruit trees and nice seating. We had supper at the hotel and it was delicious. Note that Google maps may take you along dirt roads to get to this town, but there is a paved way...

  a wonderful place filled with the spirit of the times of Jesuit reductions in Paraguay, I am from Poland and I can't wait for my next visit to Paraguay and visit this wonderful hotel with wonderful staff and a rich library of materials on Paraguayan reductions, which are especially valuable to me as a historian researching this topic thank you for a great hospitality in this beautiful place and for this that a hotel is thematically referring to the history of reduction, especially reduction in Santa Maria de Fe🥰❤️

  A beautiful little hotel in a beautiful little town, I have no complaints. All the employees we've interacted with were super friendly and accommodating. There was no restaurant where we could get dinner in town, so one employee of the hotel called up someone he knows who then brought us really delicious home made chicken. Also, in that park right in front of the hotel there are monkeys in the trees! The only which could be improved is that the wifi is slow.

  Very unique place. Combing paraguayan history and tourism. Simple colonial style. Clean. Spacious. Tastefully decorated. Very friendly client aervice.
