  I used to find imported products from the US, like chili beans, cereals, unfortunately, on my recent visits I couldn’t find any.

  There are many REAL supermarkets in the Asuncion area, and this location is one of the more established ones. One of the best things about this location is that they carry a wider selection of imported European and USA foods than most of the other REAL supermarkets. The supermarket has some pre-made take-away foods (like BBQ chicken, pizza, empanadas), you will find a larger selection of this type of food at Super 6. This location has an outstanding bakery with fresh, good tasting breads (my top choice so far), and if you like heavy, rich cakes - this bakery has the heaviest I have ever tasted. They have a large selection of produce, including harder to find imported fruits and vegetables. Their wine & spirits section has a larger selection than most supermarkets.
