  One of the best museums in Asunción. Sacred art is the biggest artistic treasure Paraguay produced during its colonial period. Housed in a beautifully restored italian style villa in a quiet downtown corner. The Museo de Arte sacro exhibits remarkable pieces of art, mostly made by the Guaraní indigenous in the Jesuit Reductions that flourished in the XVII century.
