  The perfect spot to relax and cleanse your mind while practicing yoga. The instructor Laurel leads classes in English and Spanish. I always look forward to the group practices twice a week in the Yoga Garden and wish there were more:-) I love the way Laurel is able to accommodate everyone in different level of yoga and how she inspires those with various physical limitations. I highly recommend trying your journey to yoga with Laurel!

  I have practiced yoga intermittently for several years in diverse settings, both with western teachers and Indian Yogis. The word "yoga" itself can mean different things to different people, and the best way to find your yoga is by talking to others and reading reviews to find the right class and teacher you love. I certainly have found my favorite yoga experience and teacher, Laurel, in The Yoga Garden Paraguay. I highly recommend you try her classes. After a serious hip injury I lost confidence and trust in my body and stopped practicing yoga for several years. As soon as I moved to Paraguay, I enrolled in Laurel's yoga classes and have been taking private lessons with her ever since. Laurel is a wonderful teacher, who has great expertise in anatomy, philosophy and spiritual aspect of Yoga. She is very personable and always listens to my needs, every session is different and challenging and tailored to my mood, state of mind and physical condition. She is always checking on my poses, making sure that my movements and flow are correct and that my body is properly aligned and that I don't over exert my injured hip. Her attention to details is very admirable. Thanks to Laurel, I have gained more mobility and flexibility in my hip! I leave her class feeling light, relaxed and happier than when I entered, and my body feels stretched and re-energized.

  I loved the class. It was my first "official" yoga class. The instructor gave excellent verbal instructions to many different levels of students. If needed, gentle hands-on adjustments were made. I have continued yoga because of this first class. Her knowledge of yoga was exemplary. I was nervous, but was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. I'm hooked, and have continued my classes since then. I highly recommend The Yoga Garden!

  The Yoga Garden is a beautiful and peaceful place. Laurel is the best kind of yoga teacher: she is knowledgeable about the human body and aware that every body works differently, she tailors her instruction to the needs of the individual and the class as a whole, and she is a kind and vibrant personality. I always leave class feeling better physically and mentally than when I arrived. I can't recommend it highly enough!
