  In this sacred place rest the remains of glorious ex-combatants of the Chaco War. Thank you for honoring your memory with respect and gratitude, ”you can read on a marble plaque located at the entrance. There are 504 ex-combatants who are here, ”says Fabián Chamorro, a historian who was responsible for guiding the trip to the place. He speaks softly, as if he didn't want to break the almost ceremonial silence that reigns in the place. This place was built in 2015, during the Government of President Horacio Cartes. In previous governments little or nothing was done by Veterans and ex-combatants of the Chaco War that were practically forgotten.
