::Despite the huge ecological impact in must have had, you gotta admire this huge piece of engineering which provides 15% and 75% of the energy required for Brazil and Paraguay respectively. The documentary they show you before starting the tour sets you in the mood. The autocar will transport you thorough both the Paraguayan and Brazilian parts of the complex. Surely very interesting, only available for people with "hard tech" background and students of engineering etc, there's a technical tour where you can visit the belly of the beast from the inside.

::They have a free tour and it's all very well organised. A must do if you're passing through. Takes about 2 hours including the documentary that you watch before the bus ride.

::Great small little tour. You can see the dam and it is free of charge. Also, there is a great explaination about it and the installations are first class. Very recommended!
