  It is difficult to compare Root Top with other hotels because it is old and poorly maintained. The entrance is a staircase, so it may be difficult for the elderly. The lighting in the hallway is very dark. Corner rooms have a good sense of openness. Front desk English is good.

  This hotel is mad nice. I was only there a very short time but its location, staff, and views from the pool was mighty. The included breakfast was good. There's a green detox drink. Get that! And they customized my dinner! It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the bar and restaurant area. That too was kool. I highly recommend staying here. I know I will when I visit again!

  My stay at the hotel was more sobering than relaxing. The location of the hotel is very good and central. The staff is friendly, but partly incompetent. First, about the hotel. The corridors of the hotel are kept in stylish black, which does not make the hotel seem particularly friendly. My room was extremely noisy. You can hear every cough and the arrival of messages on the cell phone from the neighboring room. The frosted glass window to the toilet lacks necessary privacy. I tore my waist open at breakfast due to a piece of metal sticking out of the deco. I pointed this out to the staff. He knew nothing better than to photograph my bleeding injury, which unfortunately led to no consequence. The management showed themselves to be completely unprofessional in this case. All in all, the stay was rather disappointing.

  Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Way too expensive for the facilities/room. The big pool you see in photos was closed (looked permanent) and they told us to go to a small plunge pool right next to the bar. The bar also plays loud music well into the night which can be heard from the rooms. Awful breakfast, rude and unhelpful staff for the most part, lots of small things broken in the room

  The rooms are nice but you hear the noise from the street. Also you have to pay for the water in the rooms and I had a old rotten banana in my refrigerator what was not cleaned the whole 3 nights. Also English was a problem.
