  Dirty kichen, There are only very poor staffs to cook even no toaster and burner is not good conditon. People in domitory are very very noisy they don’t sleep. And I put my bread in freezer but somebody took out.

  We were forced to switch rooms, I left my laundry with them and it wasn't even started by the time of check out

  I had a good experience during my stay at this hostel. If you're young and want to get in contact with other people this is the place to stay in Asunción. It features everything a good hostel has: central location, free breakfast, staff members are friendly and even speak english, which is rare in South America! I can only recommend El Viajero to other young travellers who come to Asunción.

  It's a fantastic hostel. It's clean and the staff is extremely friendly. There is a nice swimming pool for the searing Asuncion heat. The owner is friendly and professional. Central location on bus routes to airport. Close to shopping mall and Costanera (river walk)

  Unless you want to party all night, you shouldn't stay there. There were a bunch of people listening to music in the outside area of the place until 5:00 AM which obviously makes it hard to sleep. In addition to that, the bed was really uncomfortable. Finally, the breakfast was 2 toasts, 1 small piece of cake and a fruit. No more no less. Not to mention the staff which wasn't really helpful either, nobody stepped up to ask for the music to be turned off. It seems like being called a "Hostal" allows these kind of places to provide bad service without worrying too much about it. There are definitely many places where you get a much better service for the same price.
