It is a good school academically, but its administrative part leaves much to be desired, poorly organized, bureaucratic and they are not agile in solving the problems raised

History The origin of the Educational Group is linked to the history of the “Santa Margarita” School. Created in 1955 with a double purpose: to alleviate the need for schooling and to project the evangelizing work of the Parish. It began to operate on March 1 of the same year with the permission of the Ministry of Education and Worship, it was located on Emeterio Miranda and Del Maestro streets. In that year the school accommodated 83 young people at the Secondary Level, it also opened 2 pre-school shifts and 3 first grades, totaling some 186 children. Sister Teresa Roy was appointed as Director and Vice Director Professor María Ramona Sarquis de Suarez. On June 21, 1955, the first shovelful of earth was carried out, launching the construction of the San Cristóbal Parish School. Private institutions were not accessible to all, aware of this the priest Rev. Rev. Father Gáspar Robert asks the sisters to incorporate the College into the Parish. In 1966 the Colegio Santa Margarita became the Colegio Parroquial San Cristóbal, with the Director being Rdo. Father Gaspar Robert and the Director, Sister Cecilia Lessard. In that same year, 2 pre-schools, 11 first grades, 5 second grades and 3 third grades were enabled with a total of 633 students. May 1995, the Sisters of Charity of Quebec announce to the Educational Community the withdrawal of their services in the Institution for the coming year.
