  It is difficult to get to the top but it is worth it. The view is very beautiful. It is not advisable to bring very young children.

  It is a very beautiful hill, the ascent takes about an hour and a half. The ground is a bit slippery and you have to be careful (especially when going down). It is moderately signposted, it is easy to follow the path without getting lost. The top has several viewpoints and you can even camp. Highly recommended

  One of the most gratifying experiences is to reach the top after a tough climb, the view is glorious and you can see the extention of the nature that surrounds the 'Cerro Jhú'. There's two path to climb, the easiest one is through 'La casita del cerro' were you pay about 5 US$ and it gives you access to bathrooms, information and stuff. The other one is through the small neighborhood that's on the bottom of the hill but it's tougher 'cause it's more steep but you reach to the top more quickly (if you are in shape) & you don't pay for it. Yes, you can camp on the top but be careful with the mosquitos and wasps.
