  Its not a big hotel but the carisma of employers make the place receive 5 stars.

  This is a hotel in a historic building. Built in 1858, it was the house of Mariscal Lópes brother Venancio, and is market by three rows of colonnades, one above the other, on the façade facing calle Colón. There are old photos in the reception showing also the time during the Triple Alliance War when it was used as a hospital by the Brazilian army. The rooms have been updated with pleasing simple colours and are quite modern in feel.

  The breakfast there was better than the breakfast than I had in Africa which is definently saying a lot since the food the was plentiful to say the least.

  beautiful hotel and great service. the rooms are spacious and the décor is old school, but well kept!
